2

Speak to a visa specialist

A qualified specialist reviews your answers and speaks with you directly. They’ll confirm which visa is right for you, what documents you’ll need, and what the realistic timeline looks like for your application. No jargon. No guesswork.

3

We build and submit your application

Once you’re ready to proceed, we handle the paperwork. Document preparation, translations, form completion, and embassy submission guidance — everything done to the correct standard the first time.

4

Arrive in Spain with everything in place

After approval, we support your first steps in Spain — from registering your NIE and TIE to setting up your padrón. We stay with you beyond the visa approval letter, not just up to it.

Already in Spain? We Handle Renewals Too

Whether your visa is approaching renewal or you need to change your immigration status, our team manages the process so nothing slips through the cracks.

NLV Renewal

Non-Lucrative Visa holders must renew annually for the first two years, then every two years. Miss the window and you may need to restart from scratch. We track deadlines and manage everything on your behalf.

DNV Renewal

The Digital Nomad Visa is valid for 3 years and can be renewed for a further 2. Documentation must show continued qualifying remote income. We prepare everything and guide you through the full renewal process.

Common Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most often from people comparing their options.

How do I know which Spain visa is right for me?

The right visa depends on your income source, nationality, employment status, and what you plan to do in Spain. As a general guide: if you work remotely for a non-Spanish employer, the Digital Nomad Visa is usually the best fit. If you have passive income, a pension, or savings, the Non-Lucrative Visa. If you’re enrolled in education, the Student Visa. If you’re self-employed and want to work with Spanish clients, the autónomo route is different again. Our specialists can confirm the right option for your specific situation.

Can I work in Spain on a Non-Lucrative Visa?

No. The Non-Lucrative Visa specifically prohibits any gainful employment or self-employment in Spain, including remote work for Spanish or foreign employers. It is designed for people who can live on existing savings, pension income, investments, or other passive income. If you work remotely, the Digital Nomad Visa is the correct route.

What is the difference between the Digital Nomad Visa and the self-employed (autónomo) route?

The Digital Nomad Visa is for people who work remotely for employers or clients based outside Spain — you must earn at least 80% of your income from non-Spanish sources. The autónomo (self-employed) route is for those who want to work for clients in Spain, run a business in Spain, or whose income comes primarily from Spanish sources. The processes, requirements, and tax implications are different. If you’re unsure which applies to you, contact us for a clear explanation.

What documents will I need to apply?

Core documents typically include a valid passport, proof of income (bank statements, payslips, or pension letters), private health insurance valid in Spain, and a clean criminal record certificate from each country where you have lived in the past 5 years. Some documents require apostille legalisation and certified translation into Spanish. Your specialist will give you a personalised checklist tailored to your visa type after your call.

Can you help if my previous visa application was rejected?

Yes. Rejection doesn’t mean the end of the road. Our team reviews the reasons given for rejection, identifies what needs to be corrected or strengthened, and rebuilds a better application. In many cases, people who were rejected when applying without professional support go on to be approved once the right documentation and approach are in place.

How long does the Spain visa process typically take?

Processing times vary. The Digital Nomad Visa via the UGE route typically takes 20–45 days once submitted. The Non-Lucrative Visa is usually 30–90 days depending on your consulate. Student Visa processing is typically 30–60 days. We always factor in document preparation and translation time before submission, so your overall timeline will be longer than the processing window alone. Your specialist will give you an honest estimate based on your nationality and consulate.
